Trial of Courage
The theme for our 2022 Art Campaign is
"Trial of Courage.”
This campaign will challenge participants to step out of their comfort zone and face their fears and trials no matter how daunting the task may seem.
By making use of the therapeutic properties of form drawing, we will guide participants towards acknowledging their anxieties and having the courage to overcome the challenges that those anxieties bring.
trial of Courage workshops

With this campaign, we aim to equip our Comunity Art Facilitators with the skills and guidance to develop the courage needed to go on their own journey. They will use form drawing as their small art project, to help prepare them for completing a fully realised Art Project Design (an 8-week lesson plan embedded with art therapeutic principles). When the art projects are completed and the participants look back on their journey to see the big monster they slew, it will create a sense of achievement within them. So the next time they are faced with another challenge, they are ready to face it with courage!
