During the winter months, the Love Bugs, a group of children that have not been enrolled in school, arrive at our Art Centre drenched and cold. Our facilitators help these children dry off and get warm. This process can take up valuable time that could be used for other therapeutic activities.
Sponsoring a child means they get a pair of gumboots to stomp though those unavoidable puddles, a small umbrella to deflect pesky raindrops, a beanie to keep their tiny ears warm and a scarf and fluffy jacket to keep the cold away.
